Nepal to receive second CN-235-220 multi-purpose aircraft ordered from Indonesia

Indonesian aerospace company PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) confirmed on 30 October 2019 that they delivered a CN-235-220 multi-purpose medium tactical aircraft to the Nepalese Army (NA), which left Bandung, Indonesia on the same day.
The aircraft, with serial number AX-2347, will be the second CN-235-200 for the NA Air Service, was ordered in 2018.
The aircraft will be delivered by Indoensian pilots, led by Capt. Esther Gayatri Saleh and her co-pilot Capt. Ervan Gustanto. It is expected to make stops in Medan, Indonesia, and in Bangladesh and Myanmar on its way to Nepal.
The aircraft will conduct further tests in Nepal before formal acceptance, and was preconfigured on paratroop mode although it can be reconfigured to different modes including transport, MEDEVAC, patrol and VIP transport.
PTDI already shipped the tools to Nepal in advance to allow for adjustments in its configuration.
